This specification describes the Foam Skin insulated, star quad,
polyethylene sheathed, aluminum and steel tape shielded (Stalpeth)
telephone cable used for trunking between telephone stations and
subscribers.

(3) The outer layer of steel tape shall be
homogeneously covered with one layer of non-hydroscopic flooding
compound.
